I've decided to go on a mission! I will be serving a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for 18 months. My [electronic] papers are submitted and now I'm just in the interviewing process. It's been a handful putting everything together while I've had so much to do!
I should receive my call by the end of October. I am SO excited. It's crazy how life hits you sometimes. I had often thought about serving but then my parents got called, my brother left to serve his mission, and China happened. I realized a few weeks ago that the time for me to go is now.
I just want to give a shout out to all of my friends and family for supporting me in this decision. I cannot wait to find out where I am going to serve and so look forward to the people I will meet during those 18 months. It will be amazing!
