So I'm a sickie today...sick, sick, sick. I've probably blown my nose about 500 times since I woke up this morning. I just feel so goopy!
Anyway, yesterday I did watch some of my ultimate favorite movies: Little Women, The Count of Monte Cristo, and Return to Me. So maybe I didn't finish them all but I couldn't have asked for a better collection of movies to watch on a sick day...
And then I thought of one more (well besides While You Were Sleeping)...You've Got Mail. It's a classic. I love when Joe Fox brings Kathleen Kelly daisies. "Aren't daisies the friendliest flower?" and she's wearing her raincoat to cover her PJs....I mean since those PJs are so embarrassing (they're really not if you've ever seen it).
Someday my Joe Fox will come, yes he will. And he'll bring me daisies when I'm sick. And perhaps I'll even wear a raincoat to make the moment feel even more like Kathleen and Joe's.
Until then...I'll enjoy my sick days sans Joe Fox. It's really not that bad, right?
Nicole!! I'm so sorry you were sick! I know all too well how horrible that is. BUT I have to say we a soul-sistas when it comes to the "sick day" movie collection. I love those movies! And yes, your Joe Fox will be here before you know it. ;) Love you!
